About

When I was applying to schools during my senior year of high school, I wasn’t sure what university I would attend. My grades were okay, my SAT score was below average, and I didn’t think I did anything to stand out from the hundreds of other students who also applied to the same universities. Though, to my surprise, I got into what is now the eighth best public university in the country. After my admission into the University of Florida, I realized that the whole time I had doubted my capabilities all along. Looking back at that time in my life, I now understand that my grades were excellent, my SAT score was decent, and my extracurriculars were unique. I never wanted to underestimate myself again.
For this reason is why I decided to create this blog. I want to help other young women develop confidence in their capabilities and succeed in college and their future careers. This college blog won’t tell you how to get straight A’s or how to keep your dorm room clean but rather explain to you how to be confident in what you are doing now and what you will do in the future. As I write this, I am a second-year Advertising student with the hopes of one day becoming my boss. I am interested in photography, Netflix binges, fashion and most importantly helping you get through this hectic phase off your life. As put together as I might seem I’m not perfect and am prone to the occasional two-hour nap. Though, that won’t prevent me from continuing doing what I am passionate about, which is writing for this blog.
